Eurocup

About Eurocup

Eurocup is a professional basketball competition for men's teams in Europe, organized by the Euroleague Basketball Company. The competition was first established in 2002 and has since become one of the most prestigious basketball competitions in Europe, second only to the EuroLeague.

The Eurocup is a second-tier competition behind the EuroLeague, and features teams from across Europe, including domestic league champions, runners-up and other top-performing teams. The competition features a regular season followed by knockout rounds, with the winners being crowned Eurocup champions.

Over the years, several top European basketball clubs have won the Eurocup, including Valencia Basket, Khimki Moscow Region, UNICS Kazan, and Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. The competition is also notable for providing a platform for up-and-coming young players to showcase their talents, with many going on to have successful careers in Europe and the NBA.
