About Adriatic League
The Adriatic League is a professional basketball league consisting of teams from the Adriatic region of Europe. The league was founded in 2001 and initially included teams from Serbia, Slovenia, and Croatia. Since then, the league has expanded to include teams from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia.
The Adriatic League has become one of the top basketball leagues in Europe, with many talented players and competitive teams. It has also served as a stepping stone for many players on their way to playing in top European leagues or in the NBA.
The league operates on a promotion and relegation system, with the bottom-placed team at the end of each season being relegated to a lower league and replaced by the top team from that league. The league also features playoffs, with the top teams competing for the league championship.
